Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Lakeside Priority Group collects, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have — including how our text messaging program works.

Last updated: October 15, 2026
Section 01

Scope of this policy

Lakeside Priority Group ("Lakeside Priority Group," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website, request a consultation, call or text us, or otherwise interact with our consulting and advisory services (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services or submitting information to us, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

We do not sell your information

Lakeside Priority Group is a business consulting firm. We collect information to respond to your inquiry and deliver our services — not to resell it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Section 02

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, information generated automatically as you use the Services, and a limited amount of information from third parties.

Information you provide

  • Contact details — name, business name, role, phone number, email address, and mailing address.
  • Inquiry details — the area you want help with, a description of your situation, and anything else you include in the consultation form.
  • Engagement information — if you become a client, the business records you share with us during the work, which may include financial statements, operational data, org charts, contracts, customer or vendor lists, and system access. See Client confidential information below.
  • Communications — messages, emails, meeting notes, and information you share when you call, text, or complete a form.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, and timestamps.
  • Consent records — when you submit our form, we log the consent boxes you checked, the phone number provided, and the date and time, as a compliance record.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — as described in the Cookies section below.

Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from referral sources, event or webinar registrations, and publicly available business sources such as company websites, business registries, and professional networking profiles. We do not obtain consumer credit reports.

Section 03

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiry, schedule a consultation, and assess whether we are a good fit for your needs.
  • Deliver our consulting services, including analysis, recommendations, and deliverables prepared for you.
  • Communicate with you about an active engagement, including scheduling, document requests, and status updates.
  • Prepare proposals, invoices, and other administrative records.
  • Send marketing communications about our services, where you have consented or as otherwise permitted by law.
  • Operate, maintain, analyze, and improve the Services.
  • Detect and prevent fraud and protect the security of our systems.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We may create aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you or your business, and use it to improve our methods and benchmarks. We do not attempt to re-identify it.

Section 04

How we share information

We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Our team and subcontractors — employees, contractors, and specialist subcontractors who need the information to perform the work, and who are bound by confidentiality obligations at least as protective as ours.
  • Service providers — vendors that host our website, deliver messages, store documents, process payments, provide analytics, and support our operations, under contracts limiting their use of the information to those purposes.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lakeside Priority Group, our clients, or others.
  • Professional advisors — our own attorneys, accountants, and insurers, where necessary and subject to professional duties of confidence.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
  • With your direction — when you ask us to share information with someone else, such as your accountant, attorney, or a software vendor you have engaged.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We will not name you as a client publicly, or use your name, logo, or a testimonial in our marketing, without your prior written permission.

We do not sell or share your SMS consent

Your mobile opt-in information and consent to receive text messages will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party except the messaging service providers necessary to deliver the messages you requested.

Section 05

Client confidential information

Information you share with us during a consulting engagement — financial records, operational data, strategy documents, and similar business information — is treated as confidential and used only to perform the Services. We do not sell it, disclose it to third parties for their own purposes, or use it to benefit another client.

We will sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement on request, and typically do so before reviewing sensitive financial or operational records. Where an NDA or a signed services agreement is in place, its confidentiality terms govern in the event of a conflict with this policy.

If the records you share with us contain personal information about your employees, customers, or vendors, you remain the controller of that information. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to share it with us; we process it on your behalf, only as needed to perform the engagement, and will return or delete it at your request subject to our retention obligations below. Full confidentiality terms are set out in our Terms of Service.

Section 06

SMS & text messaging program

If you provide your mobile number and check the SMS consent box on our form, you agree to receive customer-care and marketing text messages from Lakeside Priority Group at that number. This opt-in is optional and separate from submitting the form — you can request a consultation without agreeing to receive texts.

Types of messages

  • Customer care / non-marketing — consultation scheduling, appointment confirmations, document requests, and responses to your inquiries.
  • Marketing / promotional — our services, events, and other promotional content.

Program terms

  • Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service.
  • Message frequency varies based on your activity and the stage of your inquiry or engagement.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or call us at (888) 555-0164.

Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of phone calls or email, which are governed separately as described below.

Section 07

Calls, autodialing & recordings

By submitting your phone number through our website or otherwise providing it to us, you consent to receive telephone calls from Lakeside Priority Group at that number, including calls placed using an automatic telephone dialing system or prerecorded or artificial voice, for purposes related to your inquiry. This consent is not a condition of any purchase or service, and you may revoke it at any time by telling us during a call, emailing us, or using the contact information below.

Calls and video meetings with our team may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance, training, and note-taking purposes. Where a call is recorded, we will tell you at the start and you may ask us not to record.

Section 08

Cookies & tracking technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember your preferences, measure performance, and support advertising. These may include strictly necessary cookies, analytics cookies, and advertising cookies.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect how parts of the website function. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" or global privacy control signal; we handle these consistent with applicable law.

Section 09

Your choices

  • Text messages — reply STOP to any message to opt out.
  • Email — use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We may still send administrative messages about an active engagement.
  • Phone calls — ask to be placed on our internal do-not-call list at any time.
  • Access and updates — contact us to review, correct, or request deletion of the information we hold about you.
Section 10

State privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or a copy of it, to request correction or deletion, and to opt out of certain sharing for targeted advertising. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may exercise these rights by contacting us using the details below.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under state privacy laws.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Where we process personal information on behalf of a client as part of an engagement, we act as a processor or service provider. Requests about that information should be directed to the client, and we will assist them in responding.

Section 11

Data security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect, including encryption in transit and restricted internal access on a need-to-know basis. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive documents through unsecured channels — ask us for a secure upload link — and contact us if you believe your information has been compromised.

Section 12

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to deliver an engagement, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal and regulatory obligations. Client records are typically retained for the period set out in the applicable services agreement, and consent records for SMS and calls are retained for the period required by applicable telecommunications regulations. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.

Section 13

Children's privacy

Our Services are intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Section 14

Third-party websites

Our website may link to third-party sites, and during an engagement we may recommend third-party software or tools. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites and providers. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit and every tool you adopt before providing information.

Section 15

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
